Featured Retailer of the Month

Sawyer River Knife & Trading Co. in North Conway opened its doors in 1998 as a small pocket knife shop, carrying mostly Case and and Buck knives with the late Earl Emerson, Sr., as the sole proprietor. The keys have since been handed over to his wife Sandy and son Trey. Sandy, Trey, and Trey's son Nathaniel now run the store as a three-person team, carrying over a dozen brands of pocket knives, multiple kitchen cutlery brands, and many other gadgets, pots, and pans for the kitchen. They are very proud of still being a family-run business going into their 28th year.

The shop is a chef's delight as it carries all of the latest kitchen tools, as well as high-end cookware and kitchen cutlery coming from brands such as Zwilling J.A. Henckels, Messermeister, Wusthof, Shun, Global, Tramontina, Anolon X, Staub, and more.

The Emersons are also proud to carry an abundance of different pocket knife manufacturers, including but not limited to Benchmade, Microtech, Pro-tech, Leatherman, Gerber, Spyderco,  Medfor, Piranha, Hogue, and of course they still carry lots of Buck and Case knives.

Their selection also includes cutting boards from Epicurean, Teak Haus, and J.K. Adams, Hults Bruk axes, high-end salt and pepper grinders, chef's apparel, and a large amount of Mason & Cash bowls and dishware. Additionally, they offer professional sharpening services that can be done same-day.

The Emersons truly appreciate your support for their long-lasting, family-run business in the heart of North Conway Village, the largest and most diverse kitchen supply retailer in the Valley. They are excited to continue offering the local, national, and even global community a large selection of quality items.
